The highly successful 2019 Color Run, in Moniga, a key tourist area on Lake Garda, was organised and advertised by Gruppo WISE on- and off-line. On 6th July, over 500 adults, children, enthusiasts and runners began the 4K untimed race around beautiful Moniga under waves of coloured powder.
Inspired by The First Color Run that took place in the US in 2011 to encourage participants to have fun together and pursue a healthly lifestyle, the runners in Moniga were allowed to run the race in their own terms: running, walking, holding pushchairs or children on piggy backs. Only one rule had to be followed: to start in a white T-shirt and finish the race splattered in colour.
Each runner was given a kit designed by Gruppo WISE with a white T-shirt, bag of coloured powder, fruit pack and cocktail. Indeed, the race was followed in Moniga’s port with a Cocktail Party and DJ set.
