Team building, sharing values, well being and group spirit. The great novelty 2020 of the Brescia Art Marathon is BAM YOUR TEAM, a project aimed at companies that care about the well being of their employees.
“A lot of research – explains Luca Mastrostefano, CEO of Gruppo WISE – has shown that there is a desire for sports in corporate welfare packages. From a work life-balance perspective, attention to well- being and quality of life has meant that many companies have already taken this path. In perfect harmony with this philosophy, we have decided to start this project, BAM YOUR TEAM, which gives companies the opportunity to offer their employees a team building, growth and well-being experience through sporting activity. After experimenting this idea in WISE, the results were immediately visible: increased psycho-physical well-being, team spirit and team building and the birth of new and unexpected ties and relationships. Like us, each company will be able to create its own running team based on the information provided by the coaches and nutritionists of the Brescia Marathon Center who will be available to start the programme and set up the training sessions. Professional and personalized support will be given based on the chosen race and to find the best way to take part in a sporting activity healthily”.
Running Team
Companies’ running teams will be recognizable through personalized T-shirts and gadgets. They will be able to benefit from group workouts and learn about their results, by tracking times, even during the race day. Furthermore, for the 2020 edition, the Brescia Marathon Sports Medicine Center, highly specialized in training programmes and physical preparation for every type of physical activity will be the qualified scientific structure.. BAM YOUR TEAM will make use of the technical-scientific help of the staff of the Marathon Center and in particular will work on the 4 spheres of wellness: Endurance, Strength, Flexibility and Balance. Many of the activities that will be offered will also be applicable in the office and at home.
BAM routes
But that’s not all: Brescia Art Marathon 2020 presents many new features also in the different courses.. The classic 42 km and 21 km Fidal distances have been confirmed instead the new 9 km BAM Fast (competitive) and the 9 km BAM Easy (non-competitive) have been introduced. BAM for Kids has been set in motion as they are tomorrow’s runners and as well to the most needy with BAM’s solidarity programme “Giving Charity Walk”. There will also be traditional dates with the film festival dedicated to the world of running and Bam by night, a memorable evening in an exceptional location which has always accompanied every edition of the Brescia Art Marathon.
Rebranding
All the information can be found on the new Brescia Art Marathon website, designed and structured by Gruppo WISE that has completely renewed the style of the marathon with a re-branding operation, which has also seen the redesign of the logo therefore linking it even more to the concepts of art and enhancement of the territory, as well as those of sport and well being. The logo in fact traces a soft line between the monuments that most represent the city and in which runners will be immersed during the 42.195km of the marathon: from ‘Castello al Duomo’, from ‘Torre della Pallata’ to then reach ‘Palazzo della Loggia’ and finally the ancient ‘Tempio di Vespasiano’.
